You've gotta do what you've gotta do sometimes. I can't fault you for your decision...that's just a tough decision to have to make. I would have tried every way under the sun to keep the Z...even if it sat garaged for the next decade. I have a feeling you'll be back someday...and possibly hearing the sweet sound of twin turbo's spooling :-) Best of luck to ya my friend.
